Kelly Bunnick both received honorable mention selections.
With input from coaches and conferences across the country, All-Americans were chosen by USA Lacrosse to honor the top individual performers of the 2026 season. Fifty programs are represented and 89 players have earned recognition.Â
Both Bunnick and Button received Honorable Mention All-American honors, the first of their careers. During the 2026 season, both defenders were named to the All-Landmark First Team and each received Landmark Athlete of the Week nods. Sophomore Bunnick had 25 caused turnovers and 31 ground balls this season. Button led the Cardinals in ground balls this season, ranking 10th in the conference with 42, while also causing 25 turnovers. The senior defender was also named to the IWLCA All-Chesapeake Second Team.
Bunnick and Button join four other Cardinals who have received USA Lacrosse All-America recognition, and are the first to receive this honor since Rachel Rubenstein in 2023.
