Madden Represents Cardinals at Day One of the Susquehanna Multis

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Catholic men's track and field team headed over to Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania to compete in the Susquehanna Multis to kick off their busy weekend.

Drew Madden represented the Cardinals on day one in the opening events of the decathlon.

In the 100m, the freshman raced a time of 11.82. He followed it up with a personal best and program ninth best distance of 6.35m in the long jump. Madden threw 11.22m in the shot put.

The highlight of the day for the freshman was his second place finish in the high jump with 1.89m. This is his outdoor season best height and program fifth best record.

Madden finished out the day with 52.37 in the 100m.

Madden will return to the Susquehanna Multis as the lone Cardinal on Friday, April 10th. Events are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
