Cardinal Throwers Compete at Day One of Legacy Meet

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Catholic men's track and field team traveled to Morgan State to compete in the first day of the Legacy Meet. The Cardinals also sent one of their members to Stevenson University to compete in the 3000m Steeplechase. 

In javelin, Max Lindung threw a distance of 45.28m. 

Mark Enamorado and Benjamin Warr competed in the hammer throw with bests. Enamorado reached a distance of 39.99m, the program fourth best. Warr finished with 36.53m, the program's eighth best throw.

In the 3000m Steeplechase, at the Mustang Invitational, Matt Haugh recorded a personal best of 10:43.50. The freshman moved up the record books from sixth to fifth with his new time.

Up next, the Cardinals will compete in the second day of the Legacy Meet.
