TOWSON, Md. – The men's cross country team will head to Lockhaven, Pa. to compete in the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships, hosted by Susquehanna.

The Cardinals earned 58 points, placing fourth overall. Moravian took the top spot with 79 points, Elizabethtown tallied 70 in second, and Scranton in third with 61 points.

After being selected to finish fourth last season, the Cardinals pulled out a second place finish.

Three top 25 finishers from last year's Landmark Championship make their return: Tim Sweeney, Richard Harrington, and Joey Locke. Locke placed 18th at the South Region Preview, leading his team to a fifth place finish. With a strong base returning for the Cardinals, they can be expected to once again compete for the title.

Freshman Aidan Malloy has had a strong rookie season, highlighted by his 6k performance at the Spider Alumni Run. Malloy was the second Division III athlete to cross the finish line.

All 10 Landmark teams will compete at West Branch Cross Country Course in Lockhaven, Pennsylvania. The men's race is scheduled at 12 p.m. with the awards ceremony to follow the conclusion of both races.
