WASHINGTON, D.C. — Catholic's head softball coach Sophie Maccarone has announced the date for the 2025 Catholic Softball Fall Prospect Camp. The camp will take place on Sunday, September 28 and will be held on the newly turfed Catholic University Softball Field. 

The camp is being held for rising softball players from grades 8-12 who have an interest in playing college softball in the future. Campers will participate in a multitude of college level drills with coaching from the coaching staff and student athletes at Catholic. Participants will also have an opportunity to compete in a game-like scrimmage.

The camp will take place from 10 am-4 pm with registration starting at 9:30 am. Each camper will be required to bring all of their own equipment including catchers gear and bats. All participants will need to have molded cleats and/or turf shoes or sneakers as no metal cleats are permitted on the turf field. There is also no gum or seeds allowed on the turf.
