KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Catholic men's soccer program received the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (USC) for its performance during the 2024-25 academic year, it was announced today. A total of 697 soccer teams earned the award, while the Cardinals were one of 283 men's soccer teams to gain the honor.
The requirement to be honored by USC is for a program to post a team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for the academic year. Head Coach
Connor Keenan's program finished with a team GPA of 3.41 to accomplish the award. Catholic was one of 151 programs in the country to have both its women's and men's program receive the Team Academic Award.
The Cardinals 2025 campaign kicks off later this month on Friday, August 29 on the road against Shenandoah at 7 pm at Glo Fiber Field at Shentel Stadium.
