MERCER, N.J. – The Catholic women's rowing team earned two medals on Sunday at the MARC Championships.
After placing second in the Varsity 8+ prelims with a time of 7:33.54, the Cardinals dropped three seconds to place third in the final. They clocked a 7:30.16 to cross the finish line behind St. Mary's (7:17.95) and Bryn Mawr (7:26.23).
The varsity 4+ squad earned a silver medal in the final with a time of 9:14.17. The Cardinals topped boats from St. Mary's and Franklin & Marshall to secure second place, finishing behind Marietta's gold medal boat.
The next regatta on the Cardinal's schedule is the Dad Vails in Cherry Hill, N.J.
