PENNSAUKEN, N.J. - Catholic men's rowing sent its top Varsity 4+ boat down the Cooper River in competition at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship on Friday afternoon. The day proved to be a success for Catholic with the boat qualifying for Saturday afternoon's final.

The Cardinals posted a time of 6:30.893, placing the boat in Semifinal FG at 4:10 p.m. today. In that semifinal, Catholic clocked a time of 6:44.970, winning its semifinal by nearly four seconds over Georgetown and Marietta. The Cardinal boating was more than 30 seconds faster than RIT and Massachusetts Maritime.
Catholic will compete in Final 6 tomorrow at 2:08 p.m. in Lane 3 alongside Marietta, Iona, Bates, Georgetown, and Mercyhurst.
