PHILADELPHIA, Pa./ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — After earning a spot in the 4x100 finals from winning their heat on Friday afternoon, the Catholic men's track and field 4x100 team competed in the finals in the event on Saturday.

Romell Randolph and
James Galang finished the race with a time of 41.39 to come in second place. They were just edged out by the Bryant and Stratton relay team who were just .04 seconds faster than the Cardinals. The team's time was the fourth-fastest in program history in the event.
At the Blue Jay Tune-Up,
Adrian Villatoro jumped into the 10th spot on Catholic's all-time list with a 6.17-meter long jump, placing fourth.
Mark Enamorado narrowly missed adding his name to the record books in the hammer throw, posting a mark of 34.51 meters, .01 shy of the top 10.
Colin Matthews set PRs in the 200 and 400, clocking times of 23.28 and 51.98 seconds.
Next up for the Cardinals are the Landmark Conference Championships, which will take place May 3-4 in Selinsgrove, Pa. hosted by Susquehanna. The championships will take place at the Robert I. Estill Field House next weekend.
