UPPERCO, Md. - Catholic totaled a single-day score of 306 at Piney Branch CC on Monday afternoon at the Stevenson Spring Invitational to place third. 

Darren Horton shot 73 (+2) on the par-71 course to finish in a tie for fourth, leading the Catholic efforts while Jack Davenport came in a shot behind, shooting 74 (+3) to tie for sixth. 

Joe Earley made it three Cardinals with sub-80 rounds, firing a 78 (+7) to place in a tie for 18th. Rounding out the "A" five for Catholic were Timothy Doheny and Mario Ventresca who tied for 30th with rounds of 81 (+10). 

Jeremiah Brown was the top finisher for the "B" group, placing in a tie for 27th with a round of 80 (+9). 

Catholic will gear up over the next two weeks for the Landmark Conference Championships in Shawnee, Pa.
