Cardinals Wrap Up Weekend at Oscar Moore Invitational

GLASSBORO, N.J./LEWISBURG, Pa.  —  The Catholic men's track and field team competed at the Oscar Moore Invitational hosted by Rowan on Saturday afternoon.

Nick Troy competed in the 400m and finished in 14th out of 48 runners with a time of 52.51 to finish in the top 15. Matthew Brown also ran in the event and placed in the top 20, clocking in at 53.06.

Kendrick DuPree finished in 17th out of 66 runners in the 800 after finishing the race with a time of 2:00.28 to place in the top 20. 

Marco Indelicato finished in the top 20 out of 51 runners in the 200m, finishing with a time of 23.00 to come in 20th. Troy also finished in the top half of the field, finishing his race with a time of 23.41.

Bobby Santangelo had the highest finish of the day for the Cardinals, placing 13th in the hammer throw with a throw of 35.81 meters.

Peter Winter was the lone Catholic runner to compete at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell. Winter ran in the 800m and clocked in at 1:55.77. Winter finished 46th in the field out of 141 runners. 

The Cardinals next meet will be Friday, April 18 at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational in Baltimore, Md.. Events are set to start at 1:30 pm.
