Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. – Catholic men's tennis remained undefeated in Landmark Conference action with a 5-2 win over Juniata on Saturday. The Cardinals were able to win all three doubles matches and the first three singles matches to clinch the victory quickly.

In doubles play, Catholic only allowed four total games en route to sweeping the first three matches of the day. The No. 2 doubles pairing featuring Lorenzo Neri and Paulo Emanuelli as well as the No. 3 duo of Ben Perks and Charlie Robbins dominated their respective matches from start to finish. Playing at No. 1, James Earwood and Diego Romo worked their match to even at 3-3 before figuring out their opponents and winning the final three games.

In singles action, the top three Cardinals took care of business to close out the match. Romo provided the first singles point at No. 3 by not allowing a game to his opponent. He cruised to an easy victory, 6-0, 6-0. Neri fought through a close first set to win 6-4 and was able to separate by more in the second set, finishing 6-2 from No. 2. Earwood had the longest match of the day. He started strong and won the first set, 6-2, but his opponent fought back to win the second set, 4-6. In the third, the pair traded games until it was tied at 4-4 before Earwood broke away for the win.

Drew Andrianopoulos continued his unbeaten streak in Landmark Conference matches, only allowing three games. He took the first set 6-1 and the second 6-2.

The Cardinals are back in action next Saturday with a trip to Lycoming.
