| By:
LANCASTER, Pa. / BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Catholic men's track & field team closed out a busy weekend on the road with multiple top-five finishes at the Doc Hale Meet and the Blue & White Invite.

Kendrick DuPree returned to the track for the 500m race during day two at the Doc Hale Meet. After competing in the 800m yesterday, the junior rallied to placed seventh with a time of 1:05.76, just shy of his personal record of 1:05.53 which he set at the Patriot Games last weekend.

At the Blue & White Invite, Connor Powers thrived on the field with a 1.75m mark in the high jump to place fourth. Powers was one of three Landmark Conference athletes to make the top five.

Gabe Stypul placed fourth in the pole vault with a 4.09m mark, tying his career-high which ranks him seventh on the program's all-time list. He picked up another top-10 finish after crossing the line in sixth in the 400m race with a time of 52.71. Marco Indelicato followed Stypul with a seventh-place finish in the 400m, recording a time of 52.75.

Peter Winter raced to a fourth-place finish in the 500m with a time of 1:08.68. Running the event for the first time in his collegiate career, Winter is now the sixth fastest runner in program history in the event.

David Stango set a personal record in the mile with a time of 4:34.66. He shaved over two seconds off his previous best to place 11th overall. Nick Troy also set a personal record on the day. He clocked a 23.65 in the 200m dash to place 11th, surpassing his previous best of 23.86 set at the Coach I Invite this January.

The Cardinals return to action on Friday, February 14 for the D3 Elite Meet in Pittsford, N.Y.
