TOWSON, Md. - Michael Brunet and Joe Wolfe of the Catholic men's cross country were named to the 2025 Landmark Second Team All-Conference, it was announced today. Both Brunet and Wolfe had top-10 finishes at the Landmark Conference Championships, Brunet earning the title of 2025 Rookie of the Year after his performance.

Wolfe led the pack at the conference championships on Saturday, November 1, finishing eighth in the Men's 8k. Wolfe earned a personal best time of 25:19.80 in the race, securing his spot on the Second Team All-Conference. His finish solidified his spot as the fourth best 8k runner in Catholic History. This marks Wolfe's third All-Conference honor of his career after earning a spot on the Second Team in both 2022 and 2023.

Brunet also cruised to the finish line in the championship race, finishing 10th, earning a personal-best time of 25:30.52, inserting himself into the program record books just behind Wolfe with the fifth-best Men's 8k performance. Brunet was the first freshman finisher in the Men's 8k, one of only four freshmen to finish in the top 25. He earned Landmark Rookie of the Year honors for his impressive performance, the first member of the men's squad to earn these honors since 2012, and only the second in program history.

Up next, the Cardinals will head to Salem, Va. where they will participate in the NCAA South Region Championships at Green Hill Park.
