BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Catholic men's soccer team traveled to Bethlehem, Pa. to take on Moravian in the first road conference matchup of the season. The Cardinals earned their second conference draw with a final score of 1-1.
Catholic controlled the first half offensively with 7 shots and 6 corner kicks, but ultimately were unable to convert. In the 38th minute, Moravian's Enzo Petruzelli, assisted by Colin Moyer, found a way to kick it past goalkeeper
Owen Allegro to give Catholic an 0-1 deficit.
Holden Woodings scored the equalizer off of a pass from
Corey Magro in the 72nd minute. The rest of the match had some back-and-forth action, each team creating opportunities in their own offensive half, but ultimately unable to pull ahead.
The Cardinals outshot the Greyhounds 22 to 5, with 11-2 of those shots on goal. Catholic also had 13 corners to Moravian's 5.
