SALISBURY, Md. – The Catholic men's swimming & diving team fell to Salisbury, 59-203, at Saturday's dual meet. Catholic moved to 6-2 on the season while remaining 3-0 in the Landmark Conference. 

Shawn Mashburn led the Cardinal scorers with a silver and a bronze medal on the day. His runner-up finish came in the 800 free where he clocked a 8:52.79 to touch just four seconds off the winning pace. He placed fourth in the 100 free with a 55.56, just behind teammate Jack Thompson who snagged third with a 55.04. Thompson also grabbed fourth place in the 50 free with a 24.73. 

Jackson Hicks also had a strong outing, placing second in the 200 breast (2:25.94) and third in the 100 breast (1:06.67), and fifth in the 200 IM (2:19.47). 

Multiple other Cardinals also recorded top-three finishes. Vincent Wills placed second in the 100 fly (59.87) while John Holler was the runner-up in the 200 free (1:58.04). Benjamin Lutcher earned third in the 200 IM (2:16.12). 

Catholic recorded a second place finish in the 400 free relay (3:39.86) and a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:50.82)

The Cardinals will wrap up the regular season with their last dual meet of the season at Howard. The Saturday, February 1 contest is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
