HAGERSTOWN, Md. - Catholic men's golf posted seven golfers in the top 30 on the first day of the Cardinal Classic.
The Cardinals sent two squads out with both teams finishing with scores of 303 (+15).
Jeremiah Brown shots an even par 72 to sit in a tie for seventh after the first 18 holes.
Diego Rojas and
Joe Earley each shot a 75 (+3) to place in a tie for 22nd.
Matthew Dietl,
Jack Davenport,
Timothy Cleary, and
Darren Horton all shot 76 (+4) and sit in a tie for 30th.
Mario Ventresca carded a 77 (+5) and sits in a tie for 37th.
Both Cardinal teams are in a tie for sixth. Shepherd sits in the lead at -8.
