Hoover Promoted To Associate AD for Facilities and Operations

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Jordan Hoover has been promoted to Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations it was announced by Director of Athletics Kevin Robinson.

Hoover joined the department in December 2019 after spending five years at Johns Hopkins as the Director of Athletic Facilities and spent the last four-plus years as an Assistant AD.

"Throughout my first year at Catholic, I have seen Jordan's commitment to excellence for Catholic Athletics," said Robinson. "He has shown a desire to move Catholic Athletics towards becoming one of the elite athletic departments in Division III.

At Catholic, Hoover oversees the athletic department's day-to-day operations, including budget management, departmental and athletic events, and the management of the DuFour Athletic Complex facilities.

"His work with our facilities and operations to improve the student-athlete experience is second to none," added Robinson. "We are thrilled to promote him to Associate Director of Athletics as he continues to take a larger role within the administrative team in Catholic Athletics."

As an Associate AD, Hoover has also taken over responsibility for capital project construction and revenue generation opportunities for Catholic, including sponsorship, ticketing, external rentals, and external partnerships.

In addition to his daily roles and responsibilities, the McDaniel ('14) graduate, serves as the sport administrator for men's lacrosse, women's soccer, softball, and swimming & diving.

Hoover is an active member of NACDA and serves on the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association's Board of Directors.
