Beauchamp Says Goodbye to Catholic After 17 Seasons

| By:
WASHINGTON, D.C. - After 17 years of service as the men's soccer head coach, Travis Beauchamp will say goodbye to Catholic University. Beauchamp will take over as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Boys Soccer Coach at The Potomac School in McLean, Va.

"It is bittersweet to announce my departure from Catholic," said Beauchamp. "It has been such a special place for me and my family over the past 17 years. I will miss all of the relationships that were built throughout the course of my time here. The players, their parents, my colleagues, and our alumni always made me feel supported. It is time to move on to a new challenge and I am very much looking forward to it. As always, TCB!"

A six-time Landmark Conference Champion, Beauchamp will depart after 181 career wins and 76 Landmark Conference victories, the most in Landmark history.

"Coach Beauchamp has brought incredible enthusiasm and professionalism to the Catholic Men's Soccer program for the past 17 years," said Director of Athletics Kevin Robinson. "Travis has built a nationally recognized soccer program, but more importantly he has had a tremendous impact on the numerous student-athletes to have come through the program during his time."

Beauchamp led the Cardinals to eight NCAA Tournament appearances, including a spot in four straight between 2019 & 2023 (the 2020 NCAA Tournament was not played due to the COVID-19 pandemic). In 2022, the Cardinals reached their first-ever Sweet Sixteen in program history.

Under Beauchamp's watch, five athletes have earned All-America honors, most recently Darius Siahpoosh in 2022. With Beauchamp at the helm, Catholic has had 22 all-region selections and 73 all-conference choices. Seven athletes have combined for eight Landmark Player of the Year honors during Beauchamp's 17 years.

"We thank Travis for the amount of time and energy he has given to Catholic Athletics and wish him and his family nothing but the best success in their next journey," said Robinson.

The Washington College graduate and Christchurch School Hall of Famer will end his Catholic career with a winning percentage of .623 in all contests and .711 in Landmark action.
