CHERRY HILL, NJ – The Catholic University men's rowing team had an impressive showing at the Knecht Cup on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals raced three boats including two varsity eights and a varsity four and recorded two top-five finishes.

The first varsity eight finished second in Heat 1 of Event 25 with a time of 6:27.72. The Cardinals were only 11.42 seconds off of the winning pace produced by Ithaca's first varsity squad. Catholic's second varsity eight recorded a third-place finish with a time of 6:57.95. Trinity won this heat with a time of 6:31.09 followed by Ithaca's second boat which clocked a 6:46.63.
