Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Alyson Morris notched the lone point at No. 6 singles, but the Cardinals fell to Division II Shepherd on Thursday afternoon. Catholic will play the final match of its trip tomorrow versus Webster. 

Jane Krukiel and Marissa Stambaugh were dominant at No. 3 doubles, earning a 6-1 victory for Catholic, but Shepherd took wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to clinch the point for the Rams. The duo was in sync throughout, cruising to victory as Catholic trailed 2-1 after the doubles portion. At No. 2 doubles, Meaghan Laniewski and Paige Brightwell battled to the end before ultimately falling 7-5. 

Shepherd had the upper hand in the top three singles matches, but Mairead O'Hara gave it a strong run at No. 4 singles, winning the second set 6-2 before ultimately dropping the tiebreak set. Morris comfortably handled her match, winning 6-2, 6-3 to provide the lone point of the day to Catholic. 

Tomorrow's match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
