| By:
NEW ORLEANS – Kate Inglis and Emily Moehringer earned All-Region honors for their performances during the 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday.

Following an impressive run at the NCAA DIII South Region Championships over the weekend, Inglis earned the honor for the second consecutive season. The senior placed sixth overall, matching her finish from a year ago, and led the Cardinals to a seventh-place finish as a team. She completed the course in 22:10.4 to record the fourth-fastest 6K time in program history and currently occupies all of the top four times.

Also named Landmark Conference Runner of the Year, Inglis' senior campaign will culminate in her second straight appearance at the NCAA Championships. The 2024 meet will be held in Terre Haute, Indiana at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course on Saturday, November 23.

Moehringer joined Inglis as an All-Region selection, earning the honor for the first time in her career. The senior was the second Cardinal to cross the finish line at the South Regional with a time 23:15.22 to place 29th overall. She ran a personal-best time of 22:38.7 two weeks prior at the Landmark Conference Championships and was an All-Landmark Conference First Team Selection.

This marks the fourth consecutive season that Catholic has earned at least one All-Region honor and the third straight season with two or more.
