SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. - After day one of the Landmark Conference Fall Preview, Catholic men's golf sits in sixth place with a score of 325 (+37). Catholic sits 10 shots back of Goucher for fifth and leads Juniata by four strokes entering Sunday.
Joe Earley and
Darren Horton each shot 79 (+7) and sit in a tie for 17th after 18 holes. Earley birdied the 153-yard par-four second and recorded nine pars. Horton birdied the 492-yard par-five sixth and the 567-yard par-five 13th and added eight pars for his round.
Timothy Cleary posted a round of 83 (+11) and sits in 32nd while
Mario Ventresca and
Matthew Dietl sit in a tie for 33rd with round of 84 (+12). Ventresca birdied the sixth, marking the lone birdie for the trio.
Catholic will tee it up again tomorrow as it looks to climb the leaderboard.
