TOWSON, Md. - Catholic University women's lacrosse junior Ally Criscuolo was named Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week on Monday after leading the team in goals, assists, points, ground balls and caused turnovers in two victories last week.
This marks the third-straight week that a Cardinal has been honored this season. In addition to Criscuolo, junior Nanci Hernandez was honored by both the Landmark and IWLCA last week while freshman Rachel Searle was named Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week on March 18.
Criscuolo totaled nine goals, three assists, 12 points, six ground balls and four caused turnovers last week as Catholic ran its win streak to five overall and 33-straight in conference contests. She set new career highs with five goals, three assists and eight points in a 23-15 Landmark win at Moravian while also adding six ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Over her last four games, Criscuolo has totaled 14 goals, four assists, 18 points, eight ground balls and six caused turnovers. She is second on the team with 22 goals and seven assists this season while ranking third with 29 points.
The 10th-ranked Cardinals look for their third consecutive win against a ranked opponent on Wednesday when they travel to No. 8 York (Pa.) for a 5 p.m., opening draw.
