WASHINGTON — The Catholic University of America men's cross country team was selected as a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team.
For a team to be considered for this distinction, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional meet and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale.
Catholic boasted an impressive team GPA of 3.54.
The Cardinals were led by Landmark Conference Senior Scholar Athlete, Patrick Jones. He was one of six runners to make the Landmark Academic Honor Roll which included graduate student Michael Taylor, juniors Michael Corado and Kevin Kuchler, along with sophomores Joseph LaPointe and Cosmo Pirozzi.
