Sousa Announces 2019 Summer Clinic at Carlini Field

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Catholic University women's soccer head coach J.P. Sousa is happy to announce the Cardinal Soccer Academy's 2019 Summer I.D. Clinic on July 29 at the new Carlini Field.

Similar to previous clinics held at Catholic University, this year's Summer I.D. Clinic is open to prospective student-athletes in grades 9 through 12 who aspire to take their game to the next level. The day is designed to give players the opportunity to showcase their soccer abilities to Sousa and his coaching staff. Returning players from the women's soccer team will also participate as assistant clinic instructors and interact with all players.

The focus of the clinic will be on technical skills as well as tactical training in a college atmosphere. Everyone is encouraged to take part in the official campus tour offered by Catholic's Office of Admissions that morning, before playing soccer on Carlini Field in the afternoon. In order to maximize player exposure, only 30 slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost is $100 per player.
