    PHOENIX, Md. - The Catholic University women's golf team took first place in the Goucher Spring Invitational at Hillendale Country Club. The Cardinals beat out Goucher and Sweet Briar with a 735 team score in the two-day invitational and sophomore Tess Murphy finished with the best score of all competitors for the first win of her collegiate career.

    STAFFORD, Va. - The Catholic University women's golf team finished eighth out of ten competing schools this past weekend at the Eagle Invitational hosted by the University of Mary Washington. The Cardinals had a strong first day of action in gorgeous Saturday weather and sat in third place, but finished with a 774 score (362-412, +206) in the two day invitational.
