Cardinals Compete at the Coach P Open

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Catholic University men's track and field team competed at the Coach P Open hosted by Moravian College on Saturday.

On the track, the Cards were led by junior Cosmo Pirozzi. The Elmer, N.J. native ran a personal best 1:56.16 in the men's 800m to place fifth overall. Classmate Joseph LaPointe also ran a career best in the men's 1500m to place eighth with a time of 4:02.27.

In the field events, sophomore CeeJa Beckett placed 17th in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.54m.

Catholic will return to action on Saturday, April 20 at the Gallaudet Invitational.
