Minkler begins his third season at Catholic in 2019 serving as the team's offensive coordinator. He also assists with the strength and conditioning program, holding a certification from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA).
In Minkler's first season with the team in 2017, Catholic advanced to the Landmark Conference championship game for the third-straight year while winning a school-record 14 games and finishing with a 14-3 record. The Cardinals received votes in the USILA Coaches Poll and stayed there for eight weeks. Also that year, he worked with attackman Tim Keith who finished his career as one of the most decorated players in program history, earning All-America and Landmark Conference Player of the Year honors while being selected to the USILA All-Star Game.
A 2015 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan, Minkler began his coaching career at his alma mater in 2016. As a player, he was a three-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection as an attacker and two-time team captain who helped the Battling Bishops to three NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship appearances and two North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) titles. He finished his career with 80 goals, 54 assists and 134 points in 53 career games as Ohio Wesleyan posted a 54-16 record.
A native of Oakton, Virginia, Minkler played high school lacrosse at the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland. He currently resides in Washington, D.C.
