Hamilton enters his fifth season at Catholic in 2019 serving as the team's defensive coordinator.

Since joining the coaching staff in 2015, Hamilton has seen the program rise to new heights. The Cardinals won back-to-back Landmark Conference championships in 2015 and 2016, advancing to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship for the first time in school history. Catholic also advanced to the conference title game in 2017 while winning a school-record 14 games and finishing with a 14-3 record. The Cardinals received votes in the USILA Coaches Poll and stayed there for eight weeks.

Under Hamilton in 2017, Catholic led the Landmark Conference in fewest goals allowed (39), goals against average (6.46) and caused turnovers (64) in its six conference contests.

Prior to Catholic, Hamilton was an assistant coach at St. John's College High School from 2012-14 as the team's defensive coordinator.

A 2009 graduate of Harding University with a degree in criminal justice, Hamilton played MCLA lacrosse for the Bisons. After graduation, he spent a year teaching English in Wuhan, China.

Hamilton currently works as a senior consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C., and lives in Kensington, Maryland.
