WASHINGTON — The Catholic University of America senior Bennett Bradley was recognized by the Landmark Conference on Monday afternoon as the league's men's lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week.
Bradley saved his best for last as he set a program record in his final game in a Catholic uniform.
The Towson, Md., native broke his own single-game goals record by one as he scored eight times, including the game-winner against Elizabethtown to help the Cardinals to a win on senior day and hand the Blue Jays just their second Landmark loss of the season.
Bradley finished with a nine-point afternoon as he added an assist and had a 66.7 shot-on-goal percentage on 18 attempts.
It is Bradley's third recognition this season and fifth career Landmark weekly honor.
