WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's lacrosse team ended its season in strong fashion as the Cardinals came up with a 14-13 win over Elizabethtown on Senior Day thanks to a program-high eight goals from senior Bennett Bradley.
The Cards scored five times in the fourth quarter to overcome a 13-9 deficit. Bradley netted half of his scores in the final 13:41, including the gamewinner with under three minutes to play.
Bradley finished the day with nine points as he also assisted on Catholic's second goal of the game.
He broke his own record on goals in game which he set last season against the Coast Guard Academy.
The Cardinals trailed 10-4 after the first half but clawed back into the game with a 5-2 third quarter.
