ADMISSION AND FINANCIAL AID
Applying to CUA: Catholic University uses the Common Application. It is recommended that prospective student-athletes apply by one of the early application deadlines: November 1 Early Action, or November 15 Early Decision. Students who apply by either early deadline will be notified of their admission decision by January 1. The next application deadline is January 15 Regular Decision. Students will be notified of their decision by March 20.
Scholarships: Every student who applies to Catholic University is considered for merit scholarship based on GPA and strength of curriculum. Catholic University is test-optional; students will receive full consideration for merit awards regardless of whether they submit standardized test scores. - Office of Student Financial Assistance: The Catholic University Office of Student Financial Assistance works to provide students and families a smooth financial aid process, and counselors are available to assist you along the way. Catholic University is a member of NCAA Division III, therefore financial aid is awarded based on financial need and not athletic ability.
- Applying for financial aid: Catholic University requires submission of both the FAFSA and CSS Profile when applying for financial aid. Students seeking financial assistance are encouraged to begin the process as early as possible to have their best chance at receiving funds. The CSS Profile is available on October 1. The FAFSA is available on January 1.
