Johnson begins her first season on the Catholic University women’s soccer coaching staff in 2018.
Johnson played three years of Division II soccer at West Liberty University in West Virginia from 2013-2015, where she captained the new program and started all 52 games at center back or center midfield. She scored 5 career goals and registered 5 assists. Johnson was a three-time all conference player and earned CCA All-Region honors as a senior. Before WLU, Johnson played her freshman season at George Mason University. She started 6 games and appeared in all 19 games in 2010, helping guide the team to the CAA tournament that fall. Johnson's college soccer success, along with dual citizenship in Trinidad, made it possible to be called up for multiple training camps with the Trinidad & Tobago women's national team over the past three years. Her first international "cap" came in December 2015 against the United States.
Johnson has been active coaching girls youth soccer in the Northern Virginia area, first with Prince William Soccer Incorporated from 2016 to 2018, and now with the Chantilly Youth Association. Originally from Greenbelt, Md., she currently lives in Woodbridge, Va.
